WildAid’s Star-Studded Galas

WildAid creates stunning, Hollywood-movie quality, high-impact multimedia campaigns featuring celebrity ambassadors and influential personalities like Jackie Chan, Yao Ming, Maggie Q, Sir Richard Branson, Lupita Nyong’o, David Beckham and many others. They combine this with free mass media penetration reaching more than 600 million people weekly in China and across several other countries. This is a conservation strategy that (to my knowledge) no other non-profit has ever done, certainly not at this scale.

Each year WildAid hosts a star-studded gala fundraiser to celebrate progress in protecting endangered species and marine habitats.

In 2019 WildAid hosted a "A Night in Africa” and honored Lupita Nyong’o with its ‘Wildlife Champion Award’ for exceptional dedication to ending illegal wildlife trade. Lupita is pictured below with a herd of elephants in Kenya’s Amboseli National Park.
